fellow young women we need to stop destroying ourselves and start pursuing everything we’ve ever wanted and being vulnerable until our hearts crack open to the world irreversibly. btw.
i tend to be cautious about bothering cats but I think it’s important to remember that some pretty extreme cat bothering is still within the typical bounds of cat social life
literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast… try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen… the time will stretch and you’ll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.
of course many women are gonna identify as non-binary if you tell them that womanhood is a feeling, something you have to be conected to, to feel and to be conscious of everyday. it’s not. and most women actually don’t feel anything. “i don’t know what feeling like a woman feels like/i don’t really feel connected to womanhood most of the time so i am probably not a woman and must be non-binary!” no it’s just totally normal. womanhood is not a feeling. we don’t go around having a constant womanly feeling and loving everything about womanhood 24/7. this idea is totally made up, and most women wouldn’t know what the fuck you’re talking about. same goes for “being a woman is being totally happy about your gender” no. not all women like being women, and saying this implies that being a woman is feeling good with all gender rules and stereotypes (because that’s the def of gender) and not only it is false, but also sexist. being a woman isn’t a feeling or a connection, it is a reality.
she’s seventeen. she’s schizophrenic. she’s a lobotomite. she can’t drink tea because she only had tap water and bread for most of her life. she watched the person who meant the world to her kill herself for her sake. she’s housemates with god but he and his apostles keep having crazy insane joker sex and she finds it deeply upsetting. she’s haunted by anywhere from 200 to 203 ghosts. she’s gay. i didn’t say her name but she popped into your head didn’t she
oooh boy its me like i was really struggling under the thought that i would need to come out someday i thought for sure i hd to be agender but would kind of try not to think about it i was terrified of admitting that i had gender dysphoria bc i was terrified of getting surgery and getting needles and all that stuff and that was supposedly the only way to deal with it like the knowledge that being not like other girls was something that required medical treatment had me in some deep denial i’ve said it before but meeting detrans women really saved me i realized that nothing about who i am or how i feel makes me less female ‘everything you do is perfectly female’ that stuck with me
